WELCOME TO
THE BOROUGH OF COLUMBIA
LEO LUTZ, MAYOR

This summer will be a busy and exciting time in Columbia Borough. Local Non-Profits have a full slate of activities on hand starting with the 5k River Run and ending with the Columbia Historical Society's Antique and Craft Show in the Historic Columbia Market House.
Consult this Web Site for upcoming events and activities OR pick-up a copy of the NEW Columbia Register.
Everyone is awaiting the start of construction for the Turkey Hill Experience at 3rd & Linden Street. This project is expected to bring over 200,000 visitors to our borough each year. Combined with other Borough Historical Sites, Museums, Antique Shops, and Dining Establishments, Columbia Borough will be bustling with activity.
Columbia Borough will be busy with the reconstruction of a portion of North 2nd Street, the beginning of rehabilitation to the Historic Columbia Market House, the start of the River Park Revitalization & Expansion Project in the latter part of the summer, the final design for the relocation of Pa Route 441, the Downtown Streetscape Project, the construction of two new parking lots, and the many street resurfacing projects planned by the Public Works Department.
As part of Columbia Borough's Safe Routes to School Project, the 9th Street Corridor is nearing completion and the Borough has just received a $1,033,000 Safe Routes to School Grant to construct Curb, Sidewalks and Storm Water Improvements along both sides of Ironville Pike from 9th Street to the Borough Line.
If you are looking for a place to go this summer, Columbia is the place.
If you are looking for an exciting place to relocate your business or home, again Columbia is the place.
