3rd and Linden Property

 

TURKEY HILL EXPERIENCE BEGINS

The work has finally begun on the former Silk Mill Property at Third & Linden Street. The site is slated to contain the TURKEY HILL EXPERIENCE and possibly other businesses. This would not have been possible without the forward thinking of Columbia Borough Officials and Administration who purchased the site and the Columbia Economic Development Corporation who has marketed the site and has taken the role of Project Coordinator.

Many thanks go to all the State, County, and Local Organizations and Elected Officials who assisted in this project. Assistance was provided by the Pennsylvania Department of Economic Development, Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection, State Senator Mike Brubaker, Representative Dave Hickernell, Lancaster County Economic Development Corporation, Lancaster County Commissioners, and Lancaster County Planning Commission.

When completed, The Turkey Hill Experience will be largest economic development project begun in Columbia Borough in many years and is expected to become the anchor business project to spur future economic development in the borough.
